SQL Server 2017: Unable to find SQL Server Configuration Manager

This article is half-done without your Comment! *** Please share your thoughts via Comment ***

Recently, I updated my machine by Windows 10, and suddenly “SQL Server Configuration Manager” disappeared from windows application list.

I explored other installed SQL Services and folders, which were there and running.

I asked my teammate about this, and everyone was finding it. Look like a hilarious thing right? but sometimes this kind of silly thing is happening with me.

I don’t know WHY,

Anyways, As a blogger, I have to share this kind of happening as well.

If “SQL Server Configuration Manager” disappear from the application list, you can run the “SQLServerManager14.msc” command from Windows RUN dialog box (Window key + R).

Other versions:

1
2
3
4
SQLServer2017: SQLServerManager14.msc
SQLServer2016: SQLServerManager13.msc
SQLServer2014: SQLServerManager12.msc
SQLServer2012: SQLServerManager11.msc

You can also get the same thing
    Windows+R –>Run–>compmgmt.msc
Now on left side : Computer Management –> Services and applications –>Sql Server Configuration managaer

    It works for all versions.

    Hi everybody,

I tried all of the above methods ( RUN = SQLServerManager14.msc, Computer Management) I could not find the configuration manager. And also I tried one another way through C:Windows/system32/…. I could not find through that way too.
